I was so happy that Jurga and Zach chose me to photograph their maternity and newborn session. Jurga had reached out to the Upper Arlington Discussion Forum on Facebook asking for a referral for a newborn photographer. A few people had referred me, thank you to those of you who do that, I really appreciate it! Jurga contacted me and we met at my studio for a consultation so she could see my work. We hit it off immediately. Jurga was so sweet and you could tell how excited she was to become a new Mom. We scheduled her maternity session it was so fun as they brought their sweet dog who wore a little tie!
She finally had baby Liam, his due date was 8/26 but they had to get him induced in September as he was nice and snug in his Momma’s belly. When she told me he was 9 pounds I got so excited because I knew I’d be able to capture those newborn baby back rolls which are my favorite thing to photograph on a newborn. He was such a sweet baby and we got a lot of great shots.
When they came back for their reveal, the slideshow brought Jurga in tears which meant that I did my job! 😉 They loved all the images. I can’t wait for them to get their gorgeous layflat keepsake album and canvas that they will be hanging on their fireplace. They brought me a photo of their wall and we were able to determine the best size to display their canvas for them. This is a service that I love providing for my clients. I don’t want to just hand over the digitals and my job is done. I want to help my clients figure out what they want to do with their images that I worked so hard to create. I want to know the colors of their rooms so I can coordinate the baby’s outfits so the portrait will look perfect with all their colors and decor. I know how overwhelming it can be when you have several images and you don’t know which ones to print, which ones to hang, etc. I love sitting with my clients and figuring out what it is they want and envision. I’ve also found that when I spend more time with them I build a relationship with them which I love getting to know my clients even better. Thank you Jurga and Zach for being wonderful clients. Congratulations on your new bundle of joy! It was such a pleasure work with you and your new little little family. I hope to continue to work with Baby Liam again for future milestone sessions.
